Ycbpr video quality is bad?

Hi, we recently have gotten a Wii, and I've hooked it up to my HDTV which has a DVD Player hooked up to the Composite (Yellow) port, and then hooked up my Wii to the YcBCr port, but the video quality is very bad, the colors are dark and it's hard to see things.

What is wrong?

ypbpr is only an output source that sends picture from dvd to tv if you have plugged in your red blue green cables of wii to this you have it all backwards your trying to send your wii signal into a dvds output plug the ypbpr direct into tv
