  1. It depends on the type of file.

    RAR, ZIP

    - download 7Zip (freeware) to extract it

    ISO, BIN, CUE

    - download DAEMON TOOLS (daemon-tools.cc) (freeware) and mount the file

    - burn as IMAGE to CD/DVD

  2. Ignoring the fact that this is totally illegal for now...

You probably either have an .ISO or a .rar. (Probably the latter) You need something to extract the files, like Winrar (google it and download the trial). If it's an .ISO then you would probably need something like Daemon Tools or Alcohol or some other virtual drive.

If you like the game, you really should support the developers and buy it. You'll have trouble playing online and such with a lot of games if they aren't bought from a retailer.

  3. Dont trust bit torrents.

if u like warez just go to http://www.warez-bb.org/ (mainly rapidshare).

    Is it an .exe?

what type of file is it?

Is it a .zip, .rar or something?

    Try renaming it.

For example if something is PCGAME.zip.html

    rename it to PCGAME.ZIP

    well hope it helps.

  4. Depends on what the type of file is. This can be determined by the file extension. If you can't just install it and its a PC game, you more than likely have a rip of a game. Hence a .ISO, .BIN, or .CUE file(s). Look at the file you're trying to open.... Look at the name..... It should look like this:

"Pc_game.iso" or replace the "iso" with "bin" or "cue"

If you see any of those following file extensions, then you need software like Alcohol 120% or Magic ISO. Once you do so, you need to take that file (also known as a CD image) and mount it to your computer via virtual drives.

Or, you might just be clicking on the wrong file. Maybe the game can be just installed with an executable. Try clicking on all the files and see if an installation walk-through pops up.

Or if all fails..... You might have to accept that you've been fooled and downloaded a fake file.
