  1. I would get them in trouble with the law in whatever ways possible...suing them, etc. If I can have them arrested for it, I will.

  3. i would shout at them ..... OIII !!!! what the fu#* did you just do ? do you think i am blind ? are you calling me a liar ? wheres the   manager i want him NOW !!!!! and give me that food you just spat in im going to need it for evidence after i have had it tested to proove im no liar (they will obviously deny it )...... the manager will try to give you somekind of compensation like a free meal but who is to say that wont be spat in either? tell him you will take it for testing and ask him for a sample of the chefs spit for verification ( dont back down no matter what he tries to persuade you with) ..... now you have the food and spit sample/s in your hand ready to leave, negotiate with the manager .... ask him what he will give you to stop you from leaving and taking this matter further.....(you may be surprised at what he may offer you) if you want to then take the samples in person to the local health department a.s.a.p they will have it tested and may advise you on a legal course of action...... but this will take a long time (maybe over 1 year) and since you didnt eat it there will be no compensation, apart from knowing what you have done to the chef and the restaurant......so next time take the hush hush goodies from the manager and let him deal with the chef/s then report it :)

  9. Call who ever is in charge of you city's health department and report the restaurant.  Tell the manager you are reporting them and get the name of the employee who spit in your food.  Also, take the food home with you if you can and freeze it.  If they need proof, you will have it available.

  10. Well, I'd be kind of surprised to see the chefs with my food at the bar. If the chefs have my food, they are in the kitchen, and the bar is not in the kitchen. I'd also be very surprised because if I am at a restaurant with chefs, they wouldn't do that since their personal reputation rests on how they cook and what they do.

Watch long enough to confirm that I was really seeing what I thought, then get the manager.  Inform him/her of what I just witnessed and explain my displeasure...even if it wasn't MY food...that is just wrong.  Additionally, I would inform the manager that if "appropriate action" was not taken, that I would contact the Health Department, the local newspaper, the BBB, and all of my acquaintances of the incident which would ensure a significant loss of revenue for the establishment.  Additionally, I would consider asking for the cooks' names and without talking to the manager, turn them in to the Health Department anyway.  If they did it at one restaurant, firing them will only ensure that they will do it somewhere else if they are allowed to continue working as a cook.  Lastly...I would definitely expect anything I had already ordered and consumed to be free.

Dear garybuckwell!!!!  in relation to your reply regarding my question on nuisancce dog barking, no i am not unemployed.  I run a house, have 2 kids to look after, work full time in a stressfull job and part time teaching adult literacy and numeracy, therefore on the few occasions that I get the chance to sleep beyond 7am, I fully expect to be able to do this!!!!!  no one has the right to disturb anyones sleep, least of all a barking dog.  You try living beside a barking dog, oops!!!!  actually 5 BARKING DOGS in case you missed that part!!!!!!!!!!  and then once you have done that you can then say you are qualified to come back with such a rude and evasive answer.  I  asked for genuine help and all I got from you was a nasty answer, obviously from someone who does not have a clue what they are talking about and doesn't really care anyway!!!!!! I was nice and polite about, why couldn't you be????????????
