Yearbook Green Theme Ideas? environment related?

This year I have to think of a theme for next years yearbook. Part of an application to be an editor in my school. With my theme, I also have to create three yearbook spreads on indesign cs2 and an opening page and division page.

So I have come up with a "Green Theme" because green(environment stuff) is something that America is now paying more attention to... And it happens to be the class of 09' senior color.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Some ideas I have are:

-a folio page number design with the recycle logo and the number in the center

-maybe some type of thing relating to the different types of recyclable plastic or different alternate fuel sources: e85, electric, hydrogen... mostly their logos made by GM

It'll be my second year as an editor and I'm hoping to really wow the class and take the editor in chief position.

You can use green arrows as a common theme and even add some pictures and topics focusing on the environment.

btw I am a Yearbook editor.

you could put it on CD to save paper, printing a buttload of paper yearbooks seems kinda un-green to me

if you have to print yearbooks, if you're having a green theme they definitely need to be on recycled paper, otherwise it's a hypocritical stance

you could put some ideas of green living, like reducing waste and energy use, recycling, link sites like freecycle?
