Yeast on boys parts newborn

Did your baby boy ever have yeast infection on his p***s tip or balls? What did the doctor tell you to do for it?

How long did it take to go away? Does it hurt the baby?

Usually it's caused by a yeast diaper rash. It won't hurt him, though it could be itchy. You can try a little lotrimin or canestin cream on it. It's the same as the dr prescribes but a lot cheaper.

Yes... its normal! The doctor prescribed some cream for us but two weeks later it was still there. My step father is an ER Doc and he told me to use Anti-fungal cream... I got the equate version about $3 at wal-mart near the bandaids. It only took two days for it to be completely gone! I love this stuff and I personally think it works alot better than even the best diaper rash creams! Hope this Helps!
