Yeatsie Boy geared up for first 460m victory
Taking a look on the career chart of Yeatsie Boy, we can see a number of iconic victories, especially in OR format of the game. Having proved his class at different venues and over various distances, the D. Law trained black dog is now all ready to cover
the distance of 460 meters triumphantly for the first time.
The two-year-old young hound will do this in the Primus Telecom Derby Trial Stakes that is scheduled to be run at Henlow racecourse on Thursday night, September 20. The open race’s winning prize is worth £150.
Yeatsie Boy has done nothing except winning since debuting in February 2012. In his very maiden race, he registered an outstanding victory.
His first OR success came on July 22 when he convincingly beat Cash For Chance by the margin of 5¼ lengths in the Mark Hill Maiden Trophy - Div B, held at Coventry----he was the 5-2 favourite for that race.
The son of Premier Fantasy out of Saleen Spice moved on to seal the title of Pat Seamur Standard - Div A on July 29.
During the month of August, he grabbed two more epic triumphs in Huberts Consort Standard - Div A and Pineapple Lemon Standard Div A. That was a marvellous feat indeed. The four-victory streak established him as a reliable prospect in the betting market.
Yeatsie Boy finished second after a tough battle in his last outing entitled as Primus Telecom Derby Trial Stakes.
Considering his brilliant track record, the punters have given the dashing dog a vote of confidence again, and they hope that he will not disappoint them.
Law, who trained the dog keenly during the last six days, is too confident of his racing skills and stamina. Thus, everything goes to Yeatsie Boy’s favour. Despite this, he will have to face the wrath of Cash Game who is keen to earn fourth straight success.
The G. Andreas trained blue dog has excellently achieved three big triumphs since the dawn of this month. He also has a decent record in OR format.
Thus, a ferocious spar is on the cards. Let us be amused of it.
