Yellow Journalism used to stir up War....again?

The US Coast Guard is not a branch of the military. It is part of the Department of Homeland Security. The ships are not "warships" but cutters designed to intercept those trying to avoid customs, such as bootleggers and drug runners.

US Warships have always been referred to as USS something.

The USS DALLAS is a nuclear powered fast attack submarine.

The US COAST GUARD CUTTER (USCGC) Dallas is a 40 year old cutter! It is not a warship and was sent because of that fact. Yes it does have some limited defensive capabilities but who in their right mind would send a totally unarmed ship into that situation?

Why is the News media making out like it is a warship? Are they trying to build a war like the yellow journalist William Randolf Hearst?

Will we next hear about poor Georgian Princesses being abused by the Russians?

It is not a military ship!!!

  1. Wouldn't be the first time the Lame Stream media lied. They lie about 10 times a minute.

  2. Actually it is both, the CG in the US is military (considered one of the armed services) and under the auspices of Homeland Security (a new designation, DHS is a new department).

btw... 'USS' is the Navy designation. It is not warship specific, but used for all their watercraft.

  3. I think you have not been paying the proper amount of attention. The ships previous to these were guided missile destroyers and highly armed combat vessels.
