Yellow Sky?

What does it mean when the sky and air looks yellow. My county is under a t-storm Warning but it hasn't started raining yet. It's just thundering. Does it mean a tornado?

  1. Perhaps the wild fires caused by lightining strikes ahead of a storm which makes the skies looked yellow but we had it before in Britain when the moors set on fire due to heat and caused the skies yellow and make sunsets more dramatic.


  2. Right before a sunset, the way the clouds set up, it can make the sky a bunch of beautiful colors. It can mean a storm is on the way but not always. It can also be from smog or pollution

    Look out for:

    Dark, often greenish sky

    Wall cloud

    Large hail

    Loud roar; similar to a freight train
