Yellow dog linux on PS3

Question

can you please help me? i am totally lost with this whole thing. i went to this website and clicked on http://ydl.oregonstate.edu to download it.

#2 step says "Select the "iso" directory and then scroll to the bottom of the list and select the most current release of YDL for your hardware." so i clicked on iso folder then clicked the last one, yellowdog-6.0-DVD_20080207.iso its done downloading now...

am i doing anything wrong?? if theres any other easier way to do this, please let me know about it. thanks

Ah mate don't even go there, unless you're really clued up it's just not worth it, i'm good with computers but this stuff is too hard for me lol. I just went on to ebay and bought YDL off a guy on a disc, then all i had to do was follow the instructions and put in the disc and that was it. If i'm honest you have a PC, there isn't much point in YDL, it's more of a novelty than anything.

But anyway "Yellow Dog Linux" on ebay and find somebody who offers instructions. Should only be about £5
