What do the yellow spinning spirals on the Doppler radar mean??

  1. More than likely that means there is rotation inside that storm.  Depending on what type of rotation (I have no idea w/o seeing the radar) that could produce a tornado usually put at TVS signature.  It could have also been a MESO signature which means there is rotation but not like the TVS which means this storm had strong winds and large hail.
