Question:

Yellow spot in vision?

I am a 27 year old male, and have had this dull yellow spot/circle in my vision for at least as long as I can remember. Along with it is a dull clear line that goes right into the dull yellow circle. However when images are in front of me i.e. pictures, I can not see through the circle so in that spot the image is unseen but can see the rest of the image. On my left eye is a dull gray spot that does the same thing, cancel out the image in that one spot. To put this in perspective, look at a picture take a marker and put a small dot anywhere, thats the "negative zone" I can not see through. If I move my eye around the yellow spot will move with it, so I know its on the eye itself. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, just need to know if I need to go to an optometrist or doctor or whatever to get this fixed or if I'm going blind!

  1. Go to the eye doctor, they will tell you what is wrong. They do all kinds of tests and things...(you are supposed to get an eye exam every year)

  2. Please just go to your eye doctor, there is no point worrying yourself over it.  It could just be "floaters" since they have been around for a long time.
