Yellow stains on the white kitchen floor? (linoleum)?

i'm staying with my mother in law while me and my husband look for a house, well i am a stay home mom and decided to do some extra cleaning around the house for her. she has these yellow stains on her white kitchen floor around the air vents and where she places her area rugs.. well i've been on my knees scrubbing that floor all d**n day and the yellow stains are going no where.. i was thinking of using dishwasher liquid soap cause that is what i scrub the tub with when it gets kinda mucky but does anyone have any better tricks??

My husband( bless him :) ) Used the Magic Eraser on the floor of the camper. Its mostly white with the pink and blue  marks typical of the late 80's the yellow was from God knows what but the Magic Eraser took it up.BTW you are a GREAT house guest !

try using Mr Clean Magic Eraser. I have not tried this so I don't know if it will work.

You can also go to ehow.com and find other methods to use.

My kids say I should do commercials for Mr. Clean erasers.  They word wonders on stains.  Give it a try.

it might sound crazy

but try coke zero, ham, and coffee

ammonia is great for linoleum

those are stains from the cleaners used.  try covering the stains with rugs.
