  1. Malkin can't speak English, so he is stuck with just leading by example; which he is d**n good at.

Jenna-  Leadership has nothing to do with age, and Crosby was injured for a good part of the season.

  2. Captains don't have to be the teams best player. It is all about who has the best presence on and off the ice, and who represents their team the best. In Pittsburgh's case, Crosby leads by example because he is an unselfish, two-way player. He is one person on the Pens that all the other players should try to emulate.

In most cases, the captain is the best player, only because the best player on most teams are also the most humble and either a quiet leader, or quite charismatic. If you look at St. Louis from a few years ago, they had Dallas Drake as their captain, and he not the best player in the world. He was more of a fan favorite and a great presence on the ice.

  3. yes but neither should be the captain. you can't lead a team if you're one of the youngest guys on it. but ya malkin has like more points that crosby

  4. People tend not to take mouth-breathers very seriously.

He's certainly talented and he may be extremely intelligent but, it seems like he's constantly imitating a fish.

  5. like they say "Malkin is the best player in Sidney Crosby's team"
