Yes! My mom gave me permission to get contacts! Now what?

My mom said for my birthday (June 24th) I could get contacts! Any tips for what to expect when putting them in, etc.?

Just make sure that you have a good doctor, and get the right Rx.

It is just a learning process and you'll be fine.

The first week or so of putting them in can be challenging, but you'll get the hang of it once you learn to trust yourself touching your own eye.

It will take some time to get over putting your finger in your eye.  

As soon as you can learn to put them in without using a mirror.
