Yes/No? Palin a Bonafide loon?

McCain's VP pick Palin, has aligned herself with the Christian right on just about every single issue. She's even a bit too radical for moderates and you would think too much for even McCain. Just shows how desperate he really is.

It's one thing to want to over turn Roe V. Wade, but she wants any woman that would have an abortion for any reason to be criminally prosecuted for murder.

It's one thing to be against g*y marriage, but Palin is against g*y civil unions.

In addition, she believes that the Earth is only 10,000 years old and that Evolution has no business being taught in schools unless Intelligent Design is taught as well.

She doesn't think Polar Bears should be put on the endangered species list when lately, every study has shown their population is dwindling.

She thinks that killing animals for their fur is just fine and that global warming is all made up.

Do we really want a homophobe with the hateful ideals of the religious right one heartbeat away from the White House? Is Palin a bonafide loon?

Add to the list her flip-flop on the bridge to nowhere. she was for it until it became a national symbol of wasteful spending. then she used it for a punchline in her speech.

no. she stands solidly on her core beliefs and if you don't agree with her that's your right but does make her wrong. I will say that I disagree with some of her positions but I respect her consistency. she has risen to a fairly high position in a very short time and that is not the hallmark of a loon. I see this woman as being a powerful force in the future republican party and could one day, try for a run at the presidency at the top of the ticket. however, she needs some exposure to national politics and a chance to get her feet wet in foreign policy. She will be ready one day but not today.

On the issue of experience, all I have heard from liberals is how Sarah Palin is not experienced enough to be a heart beat away from the presidency. She has THE SAME amount of experience as Barack Obama. Obama would not be a heart beat away, he WOULD BE the president from Day 1, with the same lack of experience as Palin. Why do liberals not get this fact??

If what you say is true (can be substantiated) then, yes, she is a looney bird; that is to say, she is a type of bird that is openly defiant and stubbornly resistant to change. Bush birds and Cheney birds are sub-species which belong to the looney bird family.

also, related to the looney birds, is the Condi bird, which  is a type of goonie bird that flutters about and squawks incessantly and craps all over every thing. Both the looney bird and the gooney bird are endangered species.
