You may not be able to come here to work without a sponsor, but you may be able to visit.  You need to check the Canadian immigration site.  That is your best source of information.  Best of luck with your plans.

It depends on what country you are trying to claim religious asylum and persecution from.  The fact that you are a Christian doesnt carry any weight unless you are from a country that is killing Christians and unless you can PROVE that you and your family are PERSONALLY in danger and have been threatened and abused by your Government.

AND if that country is on a list of countries Canada accepts refugees from.

If you do not qualify for refugee status then it is probably unlikely that you would be allowed to immigrate to Canada.

You need to meet the education, skills and financial requirements for immigration.  

No one IMO would ever sponsor a stranger without skills or financial resources because sponsorship means they would be agreeing to be financially responsible for the support of you and your family once you arrive in Canada.

You would NOT be allowed to apply for or use any social programs, such as Social Assistance or any Government support if you did manage to immigrate to Canada.
