  1. It depends on how you wire the speakers in either series or parallell.  goto JLaudio.com and look up one of there wiring guides for there speakers.  Find the speaker witht same ohm load as yours and follow the wiring diagram should help.


  2. you cant drop the impedance (ohms) of a speaker, but you can change the impedance (ohms) that the amp "sees"

    and it does not give you more power but it gives the amp less resistance

    if using one speaker it would have to be a DVC because they give you wiring options, SVC subs you don't have that option

    if you have more than one sub it can be done regardless of the subs setup (DVC or SVC) by changing the wiring on the sub itself

  3. its called bridging.    connect both of you sub wires as if its 1 sub and put it in only 1 sub slot on the amp.  dont split it up like a dual channel   mono the 2
