Okay, so, on a RED arrow, are you allowed to make a right turn? My husband says no, my mother says yes, unless otherwise posted. Which is the correct answer? I need to settle this debate! Thanks!

if it is a light set-up for right turns the answer is no ,if it is a light set for left turns and you are making a right turn then the answer is yes

Your husband is right, your mother is wrong. Red with an arrow means no turn.

its illegal in california to turn on a red arrow.

I actually read online that it might be set by states and not an overall driving rule.

try looking on your state's DMV webpage.

No you can't.  You can turn right on a red light unless posted but a red arrow means NO.

NO. The Arrow indicates turning. The fact that it is red means NO turning.

What many people get wrong is that when a Green Arrow just goes out (and doesn't turn red), they think they can't go anymore, but they can. They just have to yield.

But, a red arrow means NO TURN!
