The Universe is not quite infinite, but it is ever-expanding.  

Now, if you use the Big Bang Theory, the 'center' of the Universe should be that point at which the Big Bang actually occurred.  And since it scattered all the matter of the Universe away from that point, there should be no matter whatsoever in the true center.  That is until our collective gravities bring us all back together again.  but don't count on that happening anytime soon.

If you believe in Creationism, then I guess our planet is the center of the Universe...except that we are not the center of our solar system, nor is our solar system the center of our galaxy.

If you believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster...then the center of the Universe is contained within His Most Holy Noodly Appendages.
