yes or no? Is it wrong to test on animals? yes or no? should I protest about animal testing?

I don't think there is a right answer.  I think that lab tests involving animals have been needed to make huge scientific and medical advances.  However, there are definitely a lot of cases where the testing is cruel and totally unnecessary.  Fortunately now many universities and research facilities have VERY strict rules concerning the use of animals, and any experiment involving them has to be reviewed by several committees before it can proceed.  There is still a lot of 'scientific' cruelty on going out there, so if you want to protest absolutely go for it, but just be careful to do your research and know exactly what you're protesting and why.  Good luck!
