Just by having fun(in the decent sense) and missing each other doesnot mean she is your girlfriend.The problem is that nowadays, young people don't know the difference between infatuation and real love.Real love only comes when you have been with the person for a very long time.Just because the other person looks good etc....etc....you don't fall into love. So,if you miss her badly, in the same intensity as u miss her now,even after 5-10 years,despite her flaws, that is called true love. This might no be true in ur case.So, just try and keep up ur friendship.

The question is--- what type of fun?  If you and she have wholesome, non intimate fun, perhaps your foundation is beginning to build.  Don't always think you have won the prize before actually winning it.  It looks like you and she are building a relationship, however, the building is not finished.  If you have had intimacy then you have crossed over into what married people do.  Then you have the same bond that married people do-- and that can cause a lot of pain.  So, figure out where you and she are in the relationship, and also realize that you and she must build this relationship together, without any guessing.  --- Toni D.
