Were you happy that Nadal uncrowned the Fed from his title as the King of Grass?

Or did u want Federer to make it 6 in a row?

Were you more happy to see Federer lose than to see Nadal win?

  1. Yup ! I was exstatic :) ! So proud of Rafa and couldnt be any happier for him ! He deserved it just amazing. xxxx

  2. Nadal was the best for the whole 2 weeks, he hammered fererer in the first 2 sets, federer just nicked the 2 tie breaks, i would have liked to see him win his 6th in a row, but he couldnt match nadal!

  3. Though not a huge Tennis fan you sure had to admire the gladitorial spirit of last night's final, what was refreshing was the way in which it was very evident that that they mutaully respected each others talent, OK Nadal went a bit haywire on the roof, but I guess who wouldn't after that slog, and I am glad he beat that obnoxious young player north of the border, if he is going to be waving the Union Jack for our hopes then maybe we can coerce someone from the commonwealth again!!

  4. Absolutely incredible match! And congrats to Rafa, but if your a die-hard Federer fan like me this loss is really pitiful. I just wish I could've seen Fed break Borg's record of five consecutive Wimbledons. When that forehand dumped the ball into the net, it just sank my heart. However best tennis match I have ever seen! No doubt.

  5. Yes and what a good game.

  6. NO FEDERER SHOULD HAVE WON 6 WIMBLEDONS, RAFA HAS BROKEN HIS DREAM!

  7. I wanted Federer to win.  It was a shame he didn't break Borg's record.  It was a shame he came back from 0-2 and lost.  It'll be a shame if he doesn't break Sampras' slam record.

But if you're gonna lose, better to lose to someone who's good and also a great ambassador for tennis.

By the end I just wanted the match to finish, my nerves were wrecked lol

  8. I would have liked to see Fed make 6 in a row and beat Borg's record, but Nadal winning can only be good for the sport overall. :D

  9. Best quote in the newspapers today-

"One champion and one contender strode onto Centre Court yesterday. Two champions left it."

    Says it all for me!

  10. Hmmm a wonderful final one can ever imagine..and with a wonderful deserving result..Nadal deserved it right from the first set....unfortunate that he dint get it in the 3rd set itself

    vamos rafa.....well done

    ......Die heart fan of Rafa!!!

  11. yes,very happy Nadal won

  12. I was hoping Federer could have pulled it off, but deep down inside I know Rafa deserved it more.

  13. I was just happy Federer lost. I hate always thinking Federer's gonna take this one...

  14. I wanted Federer to win and feel bad for his loss, but he will be back to win it next year, and many others.  He's the greatest player ever!

  15. yes finally, a different winner!

  16. The real shame was that it was rain affected. If it had not been affected by the weather, Nadal would have won in 3 sets. Federer is a legend though, but nothing ever lasts forever.

  17. as a federer fan..of course not  happy the result but i agree  roger said nadal did well....great final game......congrat to nadal....will stillsupport roger federer all the way......

  18. Never been into tennis - until last night!!!

I wanted Federer to win, he's gorgeous!! The other guy looked like he'd gone backwards down the evolutionary scale of man!

    Bloody good tennis though!

  19. What a game. Sorry Roger, well done Rafa. They are both excellent guys. Sorry that there had to be a loser. The last rain interruption killed Federer. When he won thee 4th he was on a role and on his way to victory, or so I thought. This Rafa is incredible, yes also Federer. It could have gone either way.

  20. Hi sweety, I didn't know about the results, until now actually. I had a busy day yesterday so I didn't watch the whole game. but I think they're really great. They both deserved, so, I don't care, and besides they're both cute, hehehe I used to watch when Guga was around, not anymore.

But tell me, were you happy?

    Lots of kisses...

  21. no

  22. I'm really happy that Nadal won, not that Federer lost though cause they are both great champions. I was actually biting my nails the whole way through cause I really wanted Nadal to win it.    It was an amazing final with all the right components but in the end the best man won! =))

    Vamos Rafa xx

  23. Overjoyed Nadal won!

  24. personally i wanted Federer to win 6 in a row but Nadal did good!

    =)

  25. Was extremely disappointed. Roger Federer is undoubtedly the greatest player at the moment and everyone else is competing to be like him.

There is always next year. This loss doesnt take anything away from him.

  26. yes, really. Federer is also a good player.

  27. HAppy ???/ Infact very happy !!

I must admit that the fourth set tie-breaker was the best piece of tennis i had seen in my lifetime

I guess luck's riding high with Spain ;)

  28. i am extremely happy rafa won! It was incredibly close though! I was a wreck by the end of it -heaven knows how they were feeling!

    Vamos rafa!!!!

    :-)

  29. I would have loved Federer to have won, to get 6 and beat Bjon Borg`s record would have been amazing....at one point, when it was 2 sets all i really thought he was going to do it...

  30. I was happy with the match, it could have gone anyone's way.. Nadal just had more luck towards the end. But for Roger to stretch it to five sets after being down 2 - 0 is amazing!! That's why he is a champion...

I wasn't killing myself but I was pretty upset that roger didn't make it 6 in a row. I really wanted him to beat Borg's record. I think Borg was releived Roger lost in the end. He wanted to keep his record. It was a great match though.. I was shaking the whole way through.

  31. I was pretty gutted by the fact that Roger didn't win, coming back from 2 sets to love was amazing and it was so close in the final set and both players had break points. Just to see his face at the end and how gutted he was that he lost was so unfortunate for him.
