Yesterday I got a phone-call, my caller ID read from phone number, [phone]. How is this possibe?

it's a blocked number from a call center or auto-dialer like they use at telemarketing places or collection agencies.

i have had a missed called on my cell phone that read 111-111-1111

I thought it was really odd but i just ignored it

its a telemarketer, they change the number so you cant call them back

its most likely a corporate location - and they have the outgoing number listed as the 1111111's - because when they call an outside line they do not want the info of the direct # going to caller ids such as yourself

Very likely that was an international call of some sort.  Could have been a wrong number from someone overseas maybe.  I've had that before when a friend called me from Thailand.  The call is re-routed through the different telephone networks making it likely that the number they are calling from will not be shown.
