Yesterday i got my cartilage pierced & i took the earring out today?

but i didn't mean too i just just monkeying around with it. i couldn't get it back in so my my mom. i cleaned it right after i went through the pain of her stabbing it back through the hole. i iced it and cleaned it. will it get infected?

I doubt it. Unless you somehow rubbed the earring with dirt then it should be fine.

I think you'll be fine. Feeling the pain is normal so...

Just keep cleaning it, and don't mess around with it again! Lol.

And try not to touch it a lot, if you're going to, remember to wash your hands before.

I did this same thing after I got mine done. After wards it hurt like h**l for about 3 weeks. but now its fine. So probley nothing will happen to yours. Just clean it everyday and turn it every day.

I doubt it will get infected. Just keep cleaning it and icing it. Take some anti inflammatories to bring down the swelling and ease the pain.

I would suggest doing 2 saline soaks a day. You can make saline at home by mixing 1/4 a teaspoon of sea salt to 8oz of warm water. Soak for 5-10 minutes. Saline soaks are natural to your body if made correctly, and do not cause irritation.
