Yesterday part of my gum turned blackish, but it isn't bleeding or anything?

Question

what should I do is it gingivitis

I brush my teeth and floss everyday

I don't have cavities

Is it going to be that color forever

Or spread????

Talk to your dentist about it.

I don't know what it could be, strange to have the gum turn blackish over night.  You had better make an appointment with your dentist, he will have to see to diagnose the problem.
