Yesterday when i checked my

Question

Yesterday when i checked my phone, the whole left side had turned green and yellow and there were several other coloured lines on the screen. I didn't drop it or anything it was lust in my bag. I tried turning it on and off but it didn't go away. My friends told me my screen had cracked. I was wondering if that is what happened and where i can get it fixed and for how much.
