Hi again. My daughter is 4 1/2 months. Have any of you used I believe it's called Nature's Goodness brand? It's sold at Walmart. It's cheap. Although I didn't compare ingredients to Gerber I bought a few small jars as taste testers basically. She likes pears from them. She likes the Gerber prunes. Has anyone had bad experiences with this brand whether it be the jar food or the cereal?? Is one brand way better than the other?

Thanx!

  1. I used that kind too I really don't think there is that much of a difference the only difference i found was variety.  Gerber had more choices.

  2. I'm with Brittany on that one, most of the studies suggest that a baby should not be given solids until 6 months...

  3. I have tried several brands and have made my own, as far as the jarred foods I've never noticed any being better or worse than any others.  I have bought the Nature's Goodness and have not had any problems with them at all.  I had never heard of them before I tried them so I think they save a lot of money by not really advertising, where as Gerber spends quite a bit.

  4. I prefer the jar foods that don't have a lot of additives.

We used Nature's Goodness and had no problem. We used pears, applesauce, bananas, and the orange vegetables. Cheaper and tasted fine.

  5. I've never heard anything good or bad about the brand.

Are you aware that it's not recommended to start solids until 6 months?
