How about these pictures from Yahoo!

Notice that many are focused on Bristol and in almost every photo she is listed, not as Bristol Palin, but as Bristol Palin the pregnant 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin? If there is no media bias like the Liberals have been saying...then why is the focus on Bristol still? After both candidates have said its a non-issue and it should be left alone.

There are 106 pictures and most of them make mention of the pregnancy and focus on Bristol! No there is no media bias at all...

  1. If Obama or Biden had a pregnant teen you would see the exact same thing ... this is the newest story so thats all the media is talking about currently ...

  2. I totally agree.  You're so biased that you continue to ask questions about Bristol even after the candidates have asked you not to.

    How liberal of you!

TOS answer: No, there is no "liberal" bias in media.  They are reporting the story.

  3. The media keeps talking about it because fools like you keep repeating it.  They are in it for the money, pal.

By the way, those media outlets that you insist are liberally biased?  Yeah, they are all owned and controlled by rich, conservative, white dudes.

  4. yes, I really don't know why I continue to keep yahoo as my homepage. It is disgusting. The media is who runs our elections not what the people in this country truly think!

  5. yea.. There is DEF media bias towards Palin from the start. I hate it & I'm tired of it all. Its so blatant & obvious. The real kicker is that Palin is more experienced than Obama -- she was governor for a few years & he a senator for a mere few MONTHS before running for presidency.. But nobody is touching that one on the news. I am MUCH more comfortable with Palin; aside from family "issues" she is tough, smart & ready for the job of VP. Obama is not. Too inexperienced. And too liberal, also. He is charismatic, but that is about it. He is truly brain-washing people in a way & its scary. He says what people want to hear, that is all. "Hope" & "change" my @ss! I'm not falling for that stuff.. Government cannot pay for it all & I don't want it to.

  6. A few months back why did every news article about Obama lead off with a reference the the "radical preacher Wright"? When things aren't going their way both parties accuse the media of bias against them. This is no different.

  7. Well,I'm a liberal,and I certainly see the liberal bias

I hate the liberal and conservative media

They are sick, and I hate that they care so d**n much about this issue

You do have to understand that, they're also focusing on the hypocrisy of the Republican Party. For years, they've claimed to have the good family values and have advocated abstinence only education. Obviously, that's not working. I would find it hilarious if after this,Palin and McCain have the same stance when it comes to s*x education.

Also,Sarah Palin is the one who announced to the world that her daughter is pregnant. If anyone is dragging out this issues,it's Republicans who are parading around Bristol and announcing to the world that she's pregnant and getting married. It was Sarah Palin who asked the boyfriend to come to the RNC. Not the liberal media. The media is no better to focus on it,but Palin is the one who brought this one herself

By the way, this a scandalous story. You would have no problem if the media attacked Chelsea Clinton if she was pregnant in the White House. You also had no problem when the media attacked Obama for the whole Reverend Wright thing and repeated the smears against Obama.

I guess you only care if they falsely attack the other side but can't take when your own side is attacked

  8. All of the "credible" media outlets are owned by large corporations or multi-billionaires, who are in the business of making money.  The pregnant daughter of an unknown Governor of Alaska, who is against teaching and disseminating birth control, shouldn't be fair game for politics, even if there is a certain irony to the situation, but the story sells air, so they will cover it.  Obama has said that family is off limits and he will fire anybody that tries to exploit Palin's daughter's pregancy for political gain.  If the media had not covered that unambiguous statement, you would have been all over Obama for exploiting the situation by his silence.

Republicans have opposed every effort to regulate the media, including limiting foreign ownership and one corporation ownership of multiple media outlets in the same service area, while supporting every effort to deregulate the media, including the equal time rule that ensured that, for every liberal or conservative rant, the other side got equal time.  But Reagan did away with that great equalizer, and the airwaves have never been the same.  And, of course, if you call the ranters entertainers and not political editorialists, you can get away with murder.  So if the media is out of control, look to your own house for the cause.

  9. what's the deal anyway? do the have to make the news too. Last time I checked a 17yo prego is not news worthy or anything new,

  10. Yes, there is a definate media bias - for the liberals of course.

Some how the liberals make all the stupid decisions but have you ever meet anyone that admitts to being a liberal.  No.  That's because they are in the wrong and they know it.

  11. Oh, so Sarah Palin *didn't* hold a press conference and announce to the world her unwed teenage daughter is pregnant?

The evil media for reporting on a press conference is just shocking!

  12. Nor was there in 2000 when John McCain was swiftboated, or in 2004 when John Kerry was swiftboated.  I guess it is ok if the PNAC does it eh?
