Yet another liquid-on-plane question: contact lens solution in EU?

within US it's exempt from 3-1-1. Could some Eurodude (-ette) please tell me if it's the same there? thanks..

  1. Nothing more than 100ml.But nothing to stop you taking three or four 100ml bottles.


  2. Do NOT try to take something on a plane that is eight oz. You will not be able to. It has to be 3 oz. or smaller.

  3. I think in the US it has to be 8 oz or smaller.

    I think in Europe it's a lot stricter.

    Buy a travel bottle thingy and put it in there!!

  4. I was actually accompanying my girlfriend to the airport yesterday, and it is 100ml (approx. 3.38oz) bottle maximum, while the total of the liquids cannot exceed 1 litre (33.8oz). Of course, all the bottles need to be packed in the clear plastic bags that they will usually provide you with at the security checkpoints before boarding the plane.

  5. hey i just went to europe this summer and i wear contacts. i had to take a mini contacts solution bottle. Its not safe to put it in a bottle, because it could get dirty.. if i were u id buy the travel size bottle... u can take it in the clear plastic bag
