Yet another question about drop down deletions, and can you answer?

I want to delete all of the searches from my drop down bar.

I have followed all of the very many instructions as to how to do this - "go to internet options bla de bla de chuffing ba", and so on". " Go to tools--------"

I have followed all of the various options offerd on this site, and yes they disapperar - for a while. The next thing I know is that, on my next visit to the net, those very searches are in the drop down box.

Can anybody suggets either what I am doing wrong or provide a definitive (and permanent) answer to this difficulty?

Incidentally, I am not trying to cover up my visits to porno sites.

  1. I'm not sure what you might be doing wrong (if anything) Mr Big T, but, assuming you have Internet Explorer, here is what I do and I hope it helps...

Click on "Tools", then "Internet Options". Click on "Content" and then "Auto Complete". Then click on "Clear Forms".

This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then try deselecting the "Auto Complete" options at the top. Make sure you select apply or ok at the bottom afterwards.

  2. Your using more than one browser utility such as Mozilla or Firefox. Have to do it for those also. Not just Internet Explorer.

I'm not sure how Safari works as that is with Apple.

Not having luck? Use the link below. Install for your browser.

When your done browsing; a pop up asks to delete all of the following including what your asking.
