Yet another person was stabbed and killed last night in north London, not far from where I grew up.

What can be done to stop this and who is going to take some responsibility for doing it?

  1. When an MPs child is stabbed to death - that is when.

  2. what do you sugest the police find them and lock em up but still it goes on

  3. at the end of the day i dont think anybody can do anything unless theyre are gonna destroy all the guns and knives in the country and no-ones gonna do that cause you need knives to cut things etc. and nobodys brave enough to stand up to these thugs now im not saying every teenager is at it but i carry scissors ,sharp nail scissors, for my own protection and thats what theyve driven me too im a teenager myself ((14)) but i want to be protected cause now i cant trust no-one not to just walk past im very self consious bout that sort of stuff aand it doesnt help the fact that teens are getting knives and guns.

  4. The only way to stop such mindless violence is through early education and by finding the younger people something to do. The young people today end up having these gang land FUDs because they have nothing better to do with there time. The government need to take hold and start putting into actions better community resources which include educating the young people about the damage caused to others by mindless violence.

  5. I am not too worried if the little villains stab each other until they're all gone. Its when innocent people are the victims I get concerned. What can be done about it? Well education and cultural changes are required as well as zero tolerance policing.

  6. Nothing will be done about it by this 'pc' government until it happens in their own 'back yard'.

The scum should be sent to the front line in Afghanstan - no loss!!

  7. anything we do will be pointless. the do-gooders will say that it effects the criminals human rights. i think we should put the do-gooders in jail and let them see what the animals are really like.

  8. If every stabbing last year had been reported the way it is being done this year would people have been up in arms about it then?

It hasn't changed, the media are just bothering to report it now that they have moved on from terrorism.

  9. once again another subject getting hyped out of control this is usually done to keep attention away from other things why i ask myself do they have all wheather forecast women wearing summer frocks when its quite obviously cold is it because they say global warming is a threat and must maintain the lie through media as for what to be done start with want dont get for a change if they scream let em it starts day one parenting skills dont fob it off to any authority thats available get rid of words like autism excuse for bad behaviour as if the parents havnt enough others to blame

  10. You might want to consider that while these tragic crimes exist, they have always existed and are being frankly now distorted and hyped up by a tabloid right wing media who have a political agenda all of their own.  If you buy your local papers you will see that there are numerous crimes commited by all age groups that do not make it into the nationals, think about it.  Criminality exists sure, but more good people outweigh it, so why can we not accept a less sensationalist media that would give us a more balanced picture?

  11. Well in London that stupid idiot Boris our mayor should be doing something. But the stupid t**t has done absolutly nothing. He is a complete waste of space.

  12. Its getting ridiculous, theres nothing else for it - I'm wearing a stab proof vest under my habit from now on

  13. I wish they would, the streets are dangerous these days. I get a huge gangs of about 30 chavs walking down my street to go get pissed at the park at night on weekends, they often get shifted by the police. Me and my mate got a bottle chucked at us once when we were walking home and someone got the **** kicked out of him near where me and my mates used to go drink. Now we stay in doors and go each others houses where it is safer.

  14. Any idea what colour they were?

  15. You say yet another stabbing because it has made the press but it's actually worse than we think it is.  London cases tend to make the news but this sort of thing is happening every day across other big cities in the UK.  I live in Bristol and last week two people were killed, one stabbed to death and the other, an innocent bystander aged just 17 trying to stop a fight got beaten to death.  Sadly, it's nothing new down here either.  In answer to your question, ultimately, we have to look at the parents and the education system for failing our children.  The first thing that spring to my mind when I hear of a young teenager being murdered is - where did the parents think he was at 2oclock in the morning - sometimes we are talking about kids of 13 and 14.  Clearly,  this chap in your link is older but I think if you look at the background of him and his killers you will probably find family breakdown etc.  It's harsh to say but you don't get well balanced children from good backgrounds going around stabbing their friends because they didn't get enough respect from them.  We can't blame the Government for this one - parents need to be the starting point setting boundries for their children from a young age and guiding them right through until 18/19 to make sure they make the right decisions in life.

  16. When it's a polititan or a member of a polititan's family that gets stabbed. The only time they listen is when it affects them. Problem is, stupid gormless polititians are easy targets hence their tightly secured homes and personal bodyguards. This allows them to hide and carry on raking in money with the taxes instead of being bothered to sort out the problems. We need the common man to run the country. Someone who knows the score and actually cares more about solving the problems than getting money. You'll never find a polititian who puts a country's problems before his bank balance. Bunch of stuck up tossers the lot of em.
