Yeti costume with casting material

Question

I am making a yeti costume and I am planning to use casting material to make casts to put on my calfs, thighs, forearms, and arms to make myself have a strong, sturdy look. Is this stuff heavy? Will I be able to walk in it? And do you have any suggestions for my costume? Thanks!

i'm not sure what "casting material" is exactly. you mean the stuff you use to make casts? isn't that stuff made to be solid and slightly dense/heavy? if we're talking about the same stuff...yes! it is heavy. might i suggest using material instead of casting material...whatever that is. go to a fabrics store and look for shag-like material...or destroy an old rug....
