Someone said "You look cute today" and only 3 people were there. I thought the person was talking to me, b/c the other two, I thought would have seen each other lots already that day. But then I realized later, maybe the person was talking to the other person. How embarrassing! How do I get over it?

  1. well just laughing about it works good. the others probley dont even care that much so as long as you dont bring it up they will most likely just forget

  2. You laugh it off.

  3. Realize that everyone does it. One day you'll laugh when you think about. And besides, it was kinda rude for the person to only be talking to one person in the room when there were three. Common courtesy! So you rightfully deserved to say thanks, I mean come on. The person could have been talking to you, right? You never know...

  4. this things actually pass in just three days. but if you really are desperate here: http://www.wikihow.com/Deal-With-Embarra...

  5. don't worry about it or react to any teasing apart from to laugh, and if people are ribbing you, they will soon get bored and quickly forget about it! it's happened to me before and it's not the end of the world, don't worry! x
