Yikes! Creeped out... What are these things I found in my closet?

So... I recently moved rooms in my house, and I was cleaning my closet out tonight... And I found 8 little tree nut things. The one looks like Star Anise, and the rest are round, nut like things. They look like pits.

They were just in my closet! I have no idea where from. Why are they there?!

I hate to say it but you probably have some little furry friends (mice) that lived it that closet.

Maybe you have some small critter that is living in your house and it is using your closet as a pantry.
