Chinese Taipei’s impressive player Ying Chun Lin showed an amazing performance in the arena and reached into Women’s Singles quarter-final after showing exit to Indonesia’s Maziyyah Nadhir in round-of-16 contest at Maybank Malaysia International Challenge
2012 on Thursday, November 15, in Malaysia.
The incredible Ying Chun, who has been putting in extra effort to elevate her skills for the last one year, showed a staggering performance in the arena and remained successful in beating her higher ranked challenger in just 25 minutes.
Taipei shuttler showed no mercy to her opponent in the entire battle as she played in an aggressive fashion and remained successful in finishing off this pre-quarter-final battle in straight games with a dominating margin.
In the meanwhile, the eighth seeded Maziyyah was not ready for such a harsh treatment from her lower ranked Taipei challenger. She committed many unforced mistakes while playing under pressure and eventually lost the match without showing a considerable
performance.
The Taipei lady showed a great speed form opening points of the first set and she did not show any mercy to her Indonesian rival at the early stage.
Ying Chun showed her top quality skills in the arena and eventually got a wonderful lead until the end of opening half.
After the one-minute interval, the lower ranked Ying Chun showed no respect to her rival and maintained the pace of rallies at the highest level.
The impressive speed and positive shot placement helped Ying Chun did to grab the first game with a huge 21-8 margin on the board.
In the second set, the un-seeded Ying Chun played with stunning speed and stayed in commanding position until the end of opening half.
After the one-minute break, the lofty Ying Chun did not allow the eighth seeded Maziyyah to put up strong show as she commanded rallies with her impressive craft and took the set with a reasonable margin of 21-17.
The positive and attacking play of Taipei lady helped her to wind up this pre-quarter-final contest in straight games by taking just 25 minutes with a spectacular 21-8 and 21-17 score on the board.
