Yoenis Céspedes refuses to comment on Ozzie Guillen’s statement regarding Cuban dictator

News is coming that the Oakland Athletics’ new outfielder Yoenis Cespedes has refused to comment on Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen’s statement regarding Cuban long time dictator Fidel Castro.
This whole controversy started when reporters rushed to Cespedes’ to take his comments about Guillen’s comments, in-fact supportive comments on Fidel Castro and his regime which still in his power.
Because Cespedes has recently defected from Cuba and got Dominican Republic nationality just to play in the Major League Baseball, the reporters thought that he is the right man to discuss about this matter, but not only they were
disappointed to hear that Cespedes will not talk about this issue, but they were also told by his agent that he will not talk with them in future as well on this topic.
The biggest reason of this whole controversy flashing-up too quickly is, the Miami Media that has been giving constant coverage to Guillen’s recent comments while as Cespedes belongs to Cuba, media public also pursuing him to make
some kind of more explanation for his former ruler.
Amaury Pi-Gonzalez, who is a longtime announcer and worked with A's Spanish broadcasting team, has recently said for Cespedes and somewhat explained why Cespedes is abstaining from any kind of conflict. He said, "Miami's very political,
and he feels more at ease, more relaxed here, When I met (Céspedes), I said, 'I will not ask you anything political.' He said, 'Even if you did, I won't talk about it. From that indication, he doesn't want to get involved. He just wants to play ball. He could
be idolized in Miami, but the pressure would be humongous.”
Amaury Pi-Gonzalez is a bit right here of Miami’s political hostile and more of a flashy environment and that is also the main reason also why he did not join the Marlins’ despite being persuaded by their top management with a hefty
long contract.
Experts say that Cespedes currently making right choices and this is even better that he is declining to comment on this type of controversial and slight radical topic which could hurt his credibility as he just started his new beginning as a Major League
player.
