Yoenis Cespedes' arrival will make the Oakland Athletics strong, say experts
Former Cuban international and current Oakland Athletics sensation Yoenis Cespedes, who has also obtained Dominican Republic nationality, is already making an impact before the season. He is currently playing in Arizona with his new team in 2012 Major League Baseball Spring Training while everybody watching his game closely and making their experts analysis on his future with the Athletics.
Recently some baseball’s passionate fans and critics reported in the media that Cespedes, who possesses some huge international experience, certainly will the A’s franchise to progress well in the next MLB season.
They also added that Cespedes is a player who understands his responsibility and will be playing his part whenever the needed him in near future seasons or in the upcoming season. Not only the A’s fans, but the A’s management is also pretty happy about his game and the way he is performing in the initial stages of the practice sessions in Arizona.
"He's a serious guy," said the A's manager Bob Melvin, "At the end of the day, he's focused on baseball."
Cespedes, with a background of representing one of the greatest baseball countries like Cuba, also knows how well the Major League Baseball is for every professional player. He also understands the very idea of being in the top and richest baseball league in the world is also an extra benefit for any individual.
Lately he has also told the media when he compared the level of practice facilities in the Athletics to his former playing nation. Cespedes said with detail, "First of all, we have a lot of equipment here. And the fields are so good. And if the balls get wet, the practice is over. In Cuba, there were only 20 baseballs in BP, I like facing the different pitchers. I feel good. I feel OK. I try to make adjustments with each pitcher. I don't think it will be any trouble.”
For Cespedes, this coming season is certainly a great opportunity, but this is also important how well the Athletics use his game to gain consistent position in the regular season leading up-to next round of competition.
