Yonex Denmark Open: Lok Yan Poon Crushes Laura Vana to surge into Women’s Singles main round
Hong Kong’s in-form player Lok Yan Poon proved her superior skills in the arena and reached into Women’s Singles main round after punishing Estonia’s Laura Vana in qualifying round battle at the Yonex Denmark Open 2012 in Odense, on Tuesday, October 16.
The impressive Lok Yan, who has been making her presence felt to the world, played at her best speed in the tournament and remained successful in winning the match in a one-sided fashion by taking just 17 minutes on court.
Lok Yan showed a great performance on court as she played with remarkable precision and managed to end up this last qualifying round contest in a staggering fashion with a huge margin.
Laura, in the meanwhile, remained struggling to put up strong resistance on court as she failed to find a good flow all the way and easily went down against her in-form Hong Kong challenger without proving her worth.

The impressive shot selection and flawless execution helped Lok Yan to finish up the opening game with a 21-13 score on the board.
In the second game, Lok Yan was everywhere on court as she put up strong show by taking the bird early and easily took an incredible lead until the break.
After the break, Lok Yan continued her smooth run on court without facing even a slight resistance from her rival and won the set with a stunning 21-2 margin on score board.
Lok Yan won this Women’s Singles qualifying round contest in straight sets with a wonderful margin of 21-13 and 21-2.
