Yonex Dutch International 2012: Raul Must trounces Pratama Yoga in first round

The Men’s Singles expert from Estonia Raul Must had a perfect start in the Yonex Dutch International as he overwhelmed Pratama Yoga of Germany in first round match on April 13, 2012.
Eight seeded shuttler of the event sealed a splendid 2-1 victory with decisive figures of 20-22, 21-10 and 21-8.
The epic three-set tussle lasted for an exhausting 45 minutes and both shuttlers sweat hard to oust their opponent but the battle ended in Raul’s favour.
Opening game of the match turned into a nerve-racking tussle as both contenders displayed their prime skills and did not allow each other to excel on scoreboard until the last moment.
The German shuttler launched a swift attack and earned four points in no time but Raul Must caught him at 5-5 score.
Pratama utilised his tremendous strokes and established a five-point lead before the interval.
The Estonian accelerated his pace and levelled the score with 16 points each by earning four consecutive points immediately after the mid-game break.
Opening set entered in a cliff-hanging situation in the last part when both players stood at the same level with a 20-20 score position but the German managed to clinch first match point with a tight yet decisive margin of 22-20.
However, this first set loss did not harm Raul Must as he dazzled his rival with a lustrous performance in following game.
He established a swift lead with 8-2 score in the beginning but German shuttler narrowed the gap by scoring three consecutive points.
Estonian proved his supremacy by scoring 12 out of last 13 points and clinched second set with a notable margin of 21-10.
In the final set, Raul Must was little sluggish in the start as his rival matched his skills until 4-4 score position but Raul woke up in time and controlled the overall pace of game.
He pushed his challenger on back foot with some powerful rallies and established an unassailable lead by placing 14-5 score on the board.
German was gone with the wind and never came back from 9-point deficit which ultimately cost him final set of the match.
Raul Must sealed this splendid victory with a significant margin of 21-8 and marched into second round of the event where he will be up against Iskandar Zulkarnain of Malaysia.
