Prix in Netherlands, on Friday, October 12.
The impressive Pang, the seventh seeded player in the tournament, touched his best form ever as he showed a terrific performance against Zavadsky who was the third seed in the Men’s Singles main draw.
Lower ranked Dutch shuttler was in tremendous form and he made his home fans happy by putting in extra effort and remained successful in finding elevation at the concluding points and won the match in straight games with a decent margin in 39 minutes.
Third seeded Zavadsky, in the meanwhile, stayed ahead of his lower ranked local rival all the way in both games but failed to find finishing touch in his shots in the ending points and eventually lost the match with a tight margin on score board.
