Yonex French Open Super Series: Andre Kurniawan Tedjono beats Emil Holst in qualifying round contest
Indonesia’s emerging shuttler Andre Kurniawan Tedjono advanced into Men’s Singles main round after showing his craft in qualifying round against Denmark’s Emil Holst at the Yonex French Open Super Series 2012 at Paris, France, on Tuesday, October 23.
The in-form Kurniawan, who was the fourth seeded player in the qualifying round draw of the tournament, was confident on court and easily stamped his mark over Holst by taking the court time for just 29 minutes.
Tedjono was in comfortable position as he did not face any trouble from his Danish opponent and easily ended up the fight in straight sets with a dominating margin on score board.
In the meanwhile, the lower ranked Holst could not show up strong performance on court as he failed to play attacking badminton and eventually crashed out in the qualifying round without putting up strong show on court.
It was a wonderful fight in the starting points when both players showed a wonderful display of their impressive skills.
Tedjono proved that he has obtained top quality skills on court as he started to build lead eventually successful in taking a strong position on court.

The positive and planned game of Tedjono helped him to end up the opening game with a 21-16 score on the board.
In the second set, the confused Holst was again in trouble as he received a severe treatment from his Indonesian challenger who was in his best form in the arena.
The well directed smashes and positive play kept Tedjono ahead of his Danish opponent all the way until the one-minute interval.
In the ending half, the lofty Tedjono remained in wonderful form and continued his smooth ride to end up the set with a striking margin of 21-13.
Tedjono eventually won this qualifying round clash in straight games with a dominating 21-16 and 21-13 score on the board.
