Hyun-Woo Nam in the round one – Seoul Challenger 2012 CH 
Local contender, Yong-Kyu Lim, successfully attained the better of his compatriot, Hyun-Woo Nam, and journeyed into the second round of Samsung Securities Cup Challenger 2012. He made a remarkable comeback by his three setter win
4-6, 7-6(4), 6-3 and attained a reasonable spot for the next round at the hard courts Deco Turf in Seoul, Korea.
The Korean junior, Lim showed his superior skills throughout the match and encountered the pressure with a strong resolve to clinch the final victory. Gradually, as the game kicked further, he started to play in rhythm and in the
end pulled of the match with his set after a tough battled that lasted for two hours and 46 minutes. He avenged his former loss at the initial qualifying round at the Flea Market Cup in 2007 at the hard courts of Busan, Korea.
The 27-year-old, Nam, held his serve in the opening set and confidently battled against his senior. Although he drew the first blood, the score line evened out to 2-all in the fourth game and pattern continued until the end. Both
the participants held their serves with poise and . However, Nam jumped forward to secure the last two games and cashed his rival’s only lone chance in the 10th game. He stole the opener with a 6-4 lead.
The second set proved tough challenge for the two, Nam sustained his former run of form, grabbing the initial four games and marked a 4-0 lead. The 21-year-old Lim picked his pace after the sixth game and he smoothly started to
reverse the winning order. Although Nam broke his serve in the ninth game again, Lim was strong enough this times and levelled the scores to 5-all in the very next game. Ultimately, Lim nudged forward to mark the set closure with a 7-6(4) score line after
a close-set tiebreaker round.
In the final set, the senior Korean’s, Nam’s pace died down and he was unable to withstand the pressure. Lim took hold of the chance and cashed his opponent’s only serve break chance in the sixth game. He emerged to the front line
after stealing the show with a 6-3 score line.
