  1. Do you actually mean Sonora, CA? Because there is Senora Road in Cathedral City, way south of your destination, Santa Barbara. You don't need to go back to Groveland because transport connections between the two are limited.

To go from Sonora to Santa Barbara, you must take the following:

    > Take either Route 2 or Route 3 of Tuolumne County Transit from Sonora (Courthouse Transfer Center) towards Columbia Community College).

    > Transfer at Columbia College for Route 4 of Calaveras Transit towards Angels Camp (Save Mart) wherein from there, you will transfer again to Route 1 towards Valley Springs. Afterwards, you will transfer to Route 6 towards Lodi, the big city.

    > Transfer to a Greyhound bus in Lodi to Santa Barbara with a transfer in Los Angeles.

Here's the summary of the fares:

    Sonora to Columbia College: $1.00

Columbia College to Lodi (with two transfers, and transfers are free): $3.00 because locally, it is $1.75, but for Lodi travel, it is $3

Lodi to Santa Barbara via Los Angeles: either $78.00 (regular economy) or $53.50 (discounted economy)

    Here's some notes:

    > Sonora to Columbia College trips occur only from Mondays to Saturdays.

    > Daily service between Columbia College and Lodi.

    > Daily service between Lodi and Santa Barbara via Los Angeles.
