Yosemite park horse back riding question?

I was wondering if anyone has went horseback riding in Yosemite. I just wanna know if their horseback riding is where its follow the leader or if its where you control where your horse goes

I'm sorry I don't really have an answer.  Any time I try to look up riding in any of the national parks it's always very hard to find or it's completely prohibited.  They may have specific areas with free trails but There's a good chance that in the park itself it's one of those follow the leader and go with a guide ordeals.  Partly to protect the habitat and keep people from getting lost and a big part because of all the large predator re-introduction they've done.  There's a lot of big wild life in all those parks now and there too big to do an efficiant search of if people are riding out in smaller groups with out knowing the area.

    Good luck searching though, I could certainly be wrong about that particular park.  If you get to go I'll be soo envious, I'd love to get out to a place like that and just be able to ride.  A good start would be to find a riding club in that area and see what they know and if they have trail maps, our local club makes their own detailed maps that are horse specific.
