  1. I watched the real espys and it was 2 hrs about how great the ny giants were

    it was total bull ****

    f u espn

  2. Well if i could have a write in vote it would probably be for Sid the Kid when he deked between i believe 4 Dmen against the Panthers i think.  Or maybe his goal against the Coyotes when he was falling on his back.  Or maybe when he dove out for the puck and scored against the Lightning.  But way to not put any of them into consideration.  Id vote for Rick Nash, pretty sick goal i must say.

  3. Mine in order

    1. Rick Nash's deke/goal between 2 Dmen and a goalie

    2. Max Talbot's goal against the Red Wings with seconds left on the clock to tie the game.

    3. Jonathan Toews' deke/goal by 2-3 Dmen and a goalie

    4. Alexander Ovechkin's goal on his back and behind his head

  4. #2. why not he won everything else this year. :^)

  5. Max Talbot, his goal was very impressive and its great to see a role player score a goal like that.  In that kind of pressure situation he scored an unbelievable goal.  Thanks for the great year Max Talbot!  Let's Go Pens!

  6. 2. it was just insane

  7. between number 1 or 2 but number 2 wins it hands down

  8. DEFINITELY Rick Nash's goal.  Took WAY more skill than Ovie's or Talbots.

    1.  Nash

    2.  Toews (the play was just like Nash's, but not at as critical time of the game, a very close second)

    3.  Ovechkin  (one phrase comes to mind on that goal... even a blind dog finds a bone once in a while.  Sure he isn't a blind dog, but that was luck if I've ever seen luck.  Also pretty shotty goaltending).  Now, if he meant to do that all along, well that is another story, but we all know that wasn't the case.  If a no name scores that goal, no one would be talking about it still.

    4.  Talbot - Come on, why would you put this in there.  That is just a Johnny on the Spot goal.  NO SKILL.  If your talking "best NHL goal" than this is a pretty boring league if that's the best.  If you want to talk "timely" goals, well then it may be tops.

One goal that sticks in my head was the play Zetterberg made stealing the puck from a Dallas player, then proceeding to school 4 players all at once to find Datsyuk with a perfect pass and HAT-TRICK for Datsyuk.

  9. Hmmm..I will say Nash BECAUSE it was with less then 30 seconds to go in the game AND shorthanded on the road to win it.Ovechkins goal was more luck then skill too.

PS.#1 and #2 were both scored against the Coyotes in Phoenix at the same goal.

  10. Well, since nobody seems to remember the 08 WCF when Zetterberg embarrassed 4 Stars and dished it off to Datsyuk in the slot who buried the puck behind Turco's stickhand shoulder...I'm going to have to go with Rick Nash's goal.  I saw that live (on TV) and I almost sh*t myself.  Almost.

  11. #2 Ovechkin's goal was amazing

  12. How was Max Tabots goal in there?  What about this.

Best goal of the year goes to Richard Nash.

  13. #3. Johnny Toews' goal.  The Ovechkin goal looked nasty, but the goalie flat out screwed up on that one.  Nash and Talbot's goals were clutch, but Toew's was absolutely electrifying.

  14. Well Nash's and Toew's goals were goals that had more skill to them.

Ovechkin's was pure luck but it is one of the most amazing goals.

Talbot's goal was a goal that was exciting and gained momentum back, and of course being a pens fan its a favorite goal

But i would have to pick Nash's just because of his skill level and it was a game winning goal in the last minute of the game.

  15. 1 or 2..... Rich Nash's goal was sweet but Ovechkin was amazing! I just can't pick!

  16. Definitely Ovechkin's goal that was sick I couldn't believe it when i saw it but 2nd place has to go to Rick Nash
