Ok, so we have been arguing over who is more likely to get involved by reporting a crime--men or women, and decided to let Yahoo Answers decide. So, do you call or not, and are you a man or a woman?

  7. I am a guy and would definitely call 911 after being assured the body found was not alive.

    Calling the police would seem relentless because of being placed on "hold" and then being accused of being the murderer, in event it was a murder...lol

  9. First, what does an "obviously murdered" body look like? Second, no matter the cause of death, why would you not call 911 after finding a dead body? Before I entered law enforcement, I would have still got on the phone immediately after such an incident. Who knows, perhaps the person can still be resuscitated. I am male, by the way.

    Calling 911 would be easier as I for one do not have the police # memorized and they would automatically get the police and ambulance etc.
