I believe that our financial issues are deeper than what the news and politicians wants us to know. They always tend to downplay things.

We can only hope that the new president will be able to handle all the mess left by our current president. So far it looks like a nightmare.

Our currency is based on the economy, not on gold or precious metals, so it has the chance to fluctuate a lot. Hence the currency value will be carried only by the faith of those who use it. Right now faith is going downhill. Just keep watching the news and praying. We will probably not hit rock bottom since it will not be in the best interest of other countries but we will still dip quite a bit.

I think it might take longer then next year for things to go back to normal.

I think to get the economy back on track the next president is going to have to make some changes.  

and even if they make the right changes it will take many of them some time before they fully effect the economy.

If the war continues, or we begin invading other countries, then I don't think our economy will ever return to normal.
