Well, I can't speak for all Vets, of course, but I can speak for most of the many I know, myself included.

Want to know why he probably won't get a lot of support from Vets? Try reading this:

I'm not an Obama fan, but for very personal reasons I'm certainly no fan of a man who takes from brave American ex-servicemen and servicewomen to give breaks to wealthy friends.

Couldn't we have done better than the two choices we have?

  1. McCain has the support of this Vet!

  2. Ya I think he does have the vets vote after all he was a POW. I always vote democrat and even I can see McCain is got some really qualities that make him a great leader.

  3. Yes. A poll was taken for ABC in Iraq of 100 U.S. soldiers 92 said they would vote for John McCain, 3 undecided, and 5 for Barack Hussein Obama. But the liberal media station only showed the interview of the 5 for Obama on tv. I am in the military right now and everyone ive talked to about it on base have agreed with me. McCain. But of course I do live in West Virginia and we hate Obama

  4. I did not need to check your . link  You hit the  nail  square..This is  Polytics..Boy are we  going to see some dancing around  from this  bunch..Too  bad it's with our  bucks$

  5. Two tours Vietnam 64-67. My American Legion Post calls him "Hanoi John". I am no Obama fan, McCain is just far less worse. We most certainly can do better than a typical Chicago political hack that knows how to snow people in August. Poor people have been voting for Democrats for fifty years and they are still poor. The other choice is a liberal Washington insider. We need term limits.

He also singled handed stopped the Senate investigation into the unaccounted for P.O.W's and M.I.A's. Why.

He has a history of not voting for bills that contain pork. I will do some research and educate myself.

  6. I'm a vet and don't believe McCain will make a good commander and chief because he will expect the military men and women of this fine nation to perform duties of extraordinary feat for the mere fact that it's there duty and not there choice. McCain will take away and expect more. Trust me my friends this is all true.

  7. Yes. Most vets love freedom and liberty. Most vets love the flag better when it's not on fire. Most vets enjoy keeping some of their paycheck to spend the way they want to. Many vets love the constitution, the whole thing. Most vets love America and see no reason to make America a Marxist country.

Of course we can do better. This is another of those hold your nose and vote for the guy who will hurt America the least.

  8. No. I KNOW he doesn't have the support of this American veteran.

  9. I KNOW he does!

  10. McShame is a hypocrite who plays up his past POW experience to garner sympathy.

The man is completely spineless, not at all a "maverick."

  11. Only a few. and it's out of respect.

  12. Yes 90% of them.

    10% no.

  13. mccain is the worst! everyone who agrees with me should go vote him down on this page.. you'll get a free gift card if you do!

  14. Well my friend, you're going to a different VFW than I go to, because I don't know many Vets that aren't voting for Mack. Your link isn't working.

  15. Sites not workin bro.

Edit: The Dems will bring this up...I also found it interesting that the candidate that got the most donations from vets on the republican party was Ron Paul.

  16. No, since he denied sending aid/benefits to the service members, amputees, and the veterans. A reason why we don't need McCain as Commander on Chief.

  17. Good link. To answer your question, I know a lot of vets who aren't voting for McCain.

  18. As a veteran myself, I simply cannot trust Obama. I would not dare to generalize the political leanings of ALL veterans simply based on what a few "friends" of mine thought. That would be plain silly.

I will always hold any CMH winner in the very highest regard. McCain has proven himself to be a man of honor. Obama hasn't had time to prove anything.

  19. I am a vet, I am against John McCain.

It's important to remember that the pool of people who join the military do not come equally from the political spectrum, as their are far fewer pacifists and liberals who can be enticed into the military, than say, those who are not.

  20. mcCain is anti-veteran and anti-women http://www.inthesetimes.com/article/3799...

  21. we could have, we didn't, I don't trust Obama to do the job. McCain is left. I will vote for him.
