You are deadly hurt, which one of these two options do you pick?

1. Go to a completely materialistic hospital, which employs absolutely no kind of healing based on faith or beliefs. The hospital uses nothing but physical medicine and treatments, and the the doctors and nurses are not very religions, nor do they believe in anything like the power of prayer, or miracles. You could call it an "atheistic hospital".

2. You go to a church where the entire neighborhood, including the pastor, is there to support you though prayer. They make it clear that they intend to spend the entire night if needed to call upon Jesus to heal you.

You are bleeding badly. Your car-driving friend asks you where you want to go. What do you pick?

  1. I want to live.

    Option 1 please.

  2. The hospital of course!

  3. r u kidding me? of course 1, if i chose 2 id bleed to death, that's why any ambulance or the red cross of whatever would take me to 1, not a 2

  4. The evil atheist hospital, of course.

  5. The hospital option, naturally.

  6. I'm going to the hospital, the church people can follow me there and pray all night in the chapel if they want.

I build hospitals, all of them have a chapel and on call clergy.

  7. ridiculous question, 1

  8. 1

  9. Number 1.

Because, personally, I would like to not be horribly infected.

  10. Im going to the Hospital, but I don' t have any objection to the Churchys spending all Night praying for me. It can't do any harm, can it?

And it keeps them off the Streets.

  11. God over and over tells his ppl in the bible .I would not have u ignorant brethren, nor does God ever say 'dont seek medical attention so the question meant to test christians ...lol..doesnt!

  12. For the physical needs,to the first place.

For the spiritual needs to the second place.

  13. I'll take secular medicine for $500, Alex Trebec.

  14. The church because that is what I believe already.

  15. number 1  obviously

i cant believe anyone would freely choose number two

  16. i'd say both

  17. I am bleeding - therefore I go to a hospital to try and save my life.

If I was dying no matter what then I may as well try God.

  18. 2 of course. The reason, in the bible it does state how the Lord was angry with this one King who chose Doctors, (who btw, God created) over him to heal him.

If I was lead by the Lord to go to a hospital, then by all means, I would and I wish people would stop second guessing what we will or won't choose or the reasons "why".

  19. I'm definitely going to the hospital. I'll take evidence-based medicine over faith-based remedies any day.

  20. I will pick 2 because of my faith and love of God and believe in healing. And I have my soul ready for God to receive me. If it is my time to die I will go I will also pray that God would give me the direction if he wanted me to go to the hospital.

  21. numba 1 I wanna live

  22. 1. Of course anyone would choose that. Some of us will make excuses though

  23. I'd have to call my health insurance company and see which one they'll cover.

  24. 1.  If I was to go to a religious church and have CHRISTIANS praying for and telling me I'm going to die unless I convert, I dont care how badly i'm bleeding, i will kill at least one of them. Probably the Reverend.

However, your choices are quite clear which you yourself would pick.  See, what you should have done is ...

    1) non-religious hospital, state of the art techniques and excellent doctors

    2) Faith based healing clinic, not as good in medicine as 1) but used prayer and support in addition to medical practices.

  25. option one, no questions asked.

  26. Is option #2 an actual hospital with quality and educated medical workers who are all Christians?  If so, then yes, I'd rather my doctors and nurses pray with me.

However, if the "hospital" in scenario #2 is just a building with a bunch of people who pray, I must admit, I want medical attention at hospital #1!!

  27. The problem with your question is that Christians credit those "atheistic hospitals" as God's way of providing..

Those who try your number 2 scenario are testing God, and God says to NOT test Him.

  28. Call 911.

  29. 1, of course. Even believers have to choose 1.

  30. I enjoy this question a lot :D

    1.

  31. although i believe in God, I would choose the hospital, because I believe everything happens for a reason, even hospitals.
