The height of the tower is 324 m (including the flagpole). Find the length of the missing side of this right triangle. Round to the nearest meter.

  4. you want to calculate for hypotenuse.

    because there is no angle given here so, trigonometric formula cannot be used here,

    so, use pythogoras theorem

      hypotenuse =  Ã¢ÂˆÂš(200^2) + (324^2)

                  = √40000 + 104976

                 =   √ 144976  =  380.757

                 = 381 m

  5. Yes, your right! My boat is just about to put into the Batobus stop. The third part of the triangle is about 381 meters.
